This is my first post in Hindi, here. I am writing in hindi after many years, almost 10 years or more. I have
आईडिया नहीं है कि में क्या लिखना चाहता हूँ, लेकिन मेरे को यह गूगल का नया ट्रांस्लितेरेशन फीचर टेस्ट
no idea what I want to write, but i wished to test this google's new transliteration feature,
करना था, इसलिये में हिन्दी में लिख रहा हूँ। इतना लिखने के बाद मुझे पता चला हैं कि शुद्ध हिन्दी में लिखना
therefore I am writing in Hindi. After writing (in hindi) so far, I have realised how difficult it is to
write in "pure hindi",
कितना मुश्किल है, और मुझे बिल्कुल हिन्दी नहीं आती। हिंग्लिश ने पुरे भाषा कि "वाट" लगा दी है।
and that I dont know Hindi at all. hinglish (hindi + english) has totally "screwed up" the language.

Varun's day trip to Suomenlinna (19 Sept 2006)
It was a sunny sunday afternoon on the 17th of september and a bunch of us decided that it was time that we visited the famous garrison island of Helsinki, Suomenlinna.
A short bus ride to the city center from Otaniemi (Campus) to Kamppi (Helsinki Main Bust Station) and then a short walk to the jetty (we passed the helsinki Church) and on to a boat to Suomenlinna was all that took us to get there, abt 1.55 euros (or 3.5 euros) depending on your status (permanent / temporary).

Meebo Me
I just added the ultracool Meebo Me! to the blog and also to my website, however its the same widget (i.e same uid).
This takes interaction to whole new level, yahoo did a presence idicator but it would redirect the person to the yahoo web messenger and one needed to have a Y! Id to interact. This is also way cooler to the gmail talk. i can only say WoW!! Go Meebo Go!

Mumbai 2006, 11th April to 15th April
Mumbai or Bombay as i called it when i lived there. this was my first trip in 6 years, but the last one was a flying visit for 24hrs or so... this was my "actual" trip after 1988... yes 18 years hence.. couple of pictures later i will show you pictures of the places that i lived in from 1986-1988. these are the places i remember from my childhood... places earlier to this i have very vague recolection of.
